ADOPTION STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING: I have read and understand the conditions of this application. I understand that it is my responsibility to see and evaluate the dog for myself before agreeing to adoption. I understand the adoption of a lifelong animal friend should not be impulsive, but rather a carefully thought out decision, which will ensure a loving, lasting relationship. I acknowledge that The Big Dog House cannot guarantee any dogs against parasites, diseases or destructive behaviour. I will not hold The Big Dog House responsible, nor seek any compensation for damages, medical fees, or other liabilities incurred by the pet I adopt. I understand that all dogs that are adopted from The Big Dog House must be spayed or neutered and if they are on a waiting list to be fixed, I will not breed them. I understand that dogs that are adopted together must stay together and I will do everything in my power not to separate them. I understand I must pay an adoption fee of $500 for any dogs that are 2 to 8 years old, $700 for any puppies under 2 years old and $300 for any dogs over 8 years old. All deposits are non-refundable. I understand The Big Dog House has the right to refuse my application for adoption for any reason at any given time.
